Always wanted to learn to dance? Now’s your chance!
Are you a toe-tapper? Someone who can’t sit still when music plays? If you are, then why not take advantage of a new challenge: put yourself into full motion and learn to dance?
Janina Mossman, Principal of the The Nene School of Dancing, who has forty years of dance teaching experience, is offering a new Beginners Class with friendly, expert tuition in Ballroom, Latin and Social Dance in Stamford, at the United Reformed Church, beginning on Friday 16th January 2015, 8.30-9.30pm.
Janina has already made a bright start in Stamford over the last year, teaching the traditional ‘Strictly’ favourites. “It seems only a short while ago, “ she says, “that the class of 2013-14 Beginners first donned their dancing shoes, took their partners in ballroom hold and began to find their way into the Waltz, Quickstep, Rumba and Cha Cha.”
David has been dancing at Janina’s Stamford class since it started last year. “I love the dancing and really look forward to our regular class. It’s obvious that Janina’s an expert dance teacher, but she’s also good fun so we learn without pain! It’s great, too, to make new friends. We seem to have gelled really well.”
Now in its second year, the same class is still dancing – enthusiastically – and still having fun. And their enjoyment doesn’t stop at their hour’s tuition. Many also come to the Saturday Social Dances and the regular SundayTea Dances that Janina holds in the lovely Ballroom in Stamford Arts Centre.
If you would like to join Janina’s new Friday Beginners Class in January or, if you have had some previous dance experience and would like to join her Thursday class in Stamford instead, please contact her on 01778 590655. (For more information:www.neneschoolofdancing.co.uk)
